Our Akron Leadership program offers students an opportunity to aspire to a greater level of achievement. The mission of Leadership is toleadership create leaders to meet the Needs of Our World, adept in the core life skills necessary for success. Leadership students learn the importance of leading by example and supporting their communities. While stepping up  their physical and mental training, students are rewarded with unique opportunities and advanced curriculum designed to bring out their best.

Leadership Life Skills Curriculum:
As a true leader, you will learn to inspire others while striving for ever-higher achievement. By learning life skills such as goal-setting, persistence, confidence, motivation, communication, etiquette, and public speaking, you will become a leader no matter what life path you choose. Because Leadership students receive specialized training, they're equipped to reach their goals more quickly.

Leadership students will receive training in and strategies to prevent bullying.
They will train in our Agent G Program and also abduction awareness programs.

 Advanced Training Opportunities

                                                        
 As a Leadership student, you will  receive advanced training to further develop your reflexive self-defense capabilities.
 At ATA Akron this includes the Combat Weapons Sparring, Integrated Martial Arts System, Advanced Sparring, and advanced weapons. Advanced self-defense and ATA Fit training that will challenge your endurance and result in a strong body and mind.

    Community Service

Leadership NOW is a program designed to meet the Needs of Our World.
Therefore, Leadership students are encouraged to get involved in their community and give back.
 ATA Akron's Leadership students have participated in many charities and are active in their community.
Each year the students will help with the Akron Children's Hospital "Project Ed Bear" Gala.
Held the Monday after Thanksgiving each year.

The H.U. Lee Memorial Foundation  by the ATA  in honor of its founder, Eternal Grand Master H.U. Lee, and his vision of making children's dreams possible. The Foundation provides college scholarships to outstanding students around the nation, thereby providing education and leadership development opportunities to students whom exemplify qualities of perseverance, dedication and the courage to overcome great odds.
The H.U. Lee Memorial Foundation strives to ensure that the legacy of Eternal Grand Master H.U. Lee's philanthropic commitment is carried forth in the personal and academic lives of these people as they assume leadership roles throughout society. Since 1995, the H.U. Lee Memorial Foundation has provided more than 400 students with nearly $400,000 in scholarships.ATA Akron's own Mr. Bothe is a recipient of the 2011 Scholarship.
